Building community preparedness of floods and landslides is an effort to reduce the impact that might be caused by floods and landslides. These activities are generally carried out in each city or district, so the policies implemented can different, depending on the characteristics of the region and the community in the city or district.
TRANSFORM program is unique because it tries to build community preparedness of floods and landslides between administrative regions, namely along the Garang watershed that falls within the administrative area of Semarang City and Semarang Regency. Building community preparedness in the face of floods and landslides between administrative regions has more diverse challenges than just one region. This is related to differences in the characteristics of the region and its people. These differences can be seen from social cohesion in disaster risk reduction.
